Dental Bridges From Clearwater, Florida Dentist
The use of dental bridges are very common and often the best approach. However, in order to put a bridge in a mouth, requires putting a crown on a tooth that may not have ever had a filling or a crown, and if we can replace that tooth with an implant, without having to involve another tooth, far better way to do it.
Tooth loss can be an uncomfortable scenario. On the one hand, it becomes more difficult to eat, and on the other, there’s the embarrassment that can come with missing a tooth. If you are in this situation, you know it isn’t easy to deal with tooth loss. Luckily, you have options that Clearwater Dental Associates is more than happy to provide. If you are missing a single tooth, we can use a bridge to create a realistic and functional replacement that will bring your smile back!
What are dental bridges? A bridge is a false tooth that is attached to two crowns. When you come for your first appointment to get a bridge, the teeth next to the missing one will be reshaped to make room for the crowns. We will then take an impression of your mouth which is sent to a dental lab to produce your bridge. We will provide you with a temporary bridge to wear for one to two weeks while your bridge is being made.
Once bridge dentist receives your bridge from the lab, we’ll have you come back to permanently attach it. Once we place your bridge, you can eat and care for your teeth as usual, with the added confidence and happiness that a full smile will bring!
