Teeth in a Day
Replace Your Missing Teeth with Teeth in a Day in Clearwater, Florida
As a family dentist in Clearwater, it is our goal to help all patients enjoy their natural teeth for their entire lives. However, there are a variety of circumstances that might cause you (or your loved one) to lose all of your adult teeth. Whether from neglect or no fault of your own, when you find yourself with empty gums, it is important that you find a complete and effective solution to replace your missing teeth.
Aren’t All Solutions the Same?
As you probably know, there are multiple solutions to replace your missing teeth. Dentures, for example, are a popular teeth replacement option, but are they the best option? Many of our patients believe that all tooth replacement options are the same, but that is simply not the case. While dentures will sit in your mouth and can look nice, they do a poor job of actually restoring the function of your teeth.
You need a solution that will actually work for you. You need a solution like Teeth in a Day. This solution uses the power of dental implants to secure a full set of teeth in your mouth in a single surgical procedure.
That’s right. You will walk into the dental office in the morning without any secure teeth, and walk out of the office after your procedure with a complete, functioning smile! How are we able to complete such a feat in a single appointment? The secret is in the planning process.
Teeth in a Day Procedure
The dental implants procedure always begins with a plan. In the case of Teeth in a Day, we are going to be placing a few dental implants throughout the arch of your mouth. We want each implant to support several teeth, which means that those implants need to be placed at just the right location and angle in your jaw.
To ensure a stable placement, we begin by taking images of your jaw so that we can see where your bone is able to hold a dental implant securely. We use those images to create a sort of map for your procedure. We will plan each movement down to the smallest detail so that your Teeth in a Day placement goes smoothly.
After your procedure, you will have a very short recovery time. Most patients are ready to get back to their normal routine very soon after the placement of their teeth. The teeth we place on that first day are temporary to give you an idea of how they will fit and function. In a few months, you will come back to the office to have your permanent teeth attached to your dental implants. Many of our patients are so happy with their temporary teeth that they can hardly believe that their smile will be improved with their permanent teeth placement, but it will!
